Candied Cranberry Mousse Dessert

Crust

  • 2 cups pecans
  • 3 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/8 tsp nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Mousse

  • 1 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 large egg whites, room temperature
  • pinch of cream of tartar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chilled heavy cream
  • 2 tsp of l.c. finns vanilla extract

Candied Cranberries

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
